Arrest warrant issued as inquiries continue to locate Ahmad Alameddine – Criminal Groups Squad

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Alan ‘Ahmad’ Alameddine, aged 33, is wanted by virtue of an outstanding arrest warrant for alleged serious firearm offences.

It will be alleged Ahmad fled from police on Thursday (3 August 2023) when they arrived to execute a Firearm Prohibition Order (FPO) compliance check at his Greenacre address.

State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups Squad detectives – with assistance from the Dog Squad, Public Order & Riot Squad, and PolAir – commenced inquiries to locate him.

As part of ongoing inquiries, detectives have released a photo of Ahmad in a bid to encourage anyone who may have seen him to contact police.

Ahmad is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 180cm tall, of medium build, with long, dark hair and dark facial hair.

Anyone who sees Ahmad – or knows of his whereabouts – is urged not to approach him but call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
