Glenorchy CIB has charged a 34-year-old Chigwell man and a 16-year-old youth from Hobart in connection to a series of burglaries in Hobart’s Northern Suburbs.
A search conducted by police led to the recovery of a large amount of property stolen from homes, businesses and building sites in recent months.
The pair have also been charged with a separate assault matter that occurred in Glenorchy in the early hours of Tuesday 24 October.
The man has been detained and will appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court today.
