Arson investigation, Strathpine – appeal for information and witnesses

Petrie detectives investigating an early morning fire at Strathpine are appealing for witnesses or motorists with dash cam footage to come forward.

Between 1.25 and 2.15am Tuesday morning, September 15 a fire damaged a building at 167 Gympie Road which housed a gym and storage shed.

Preliminary information indicates the fire was deliberately lit using an accelerant.

Police have released CCTV footage of two people approaching the building at the time.
