Artists respond to climate change for annual exhibition

The impact of climate change will be explored through art at this year’s City of Whittlesea art exhibition, SOS.

The theme invites artists to consider the impacts of climate change and to share ideas on ways we can all help protect the natural world for future generations.

Artists who live, work or are connected to the City of Whittlesea will be showcased and celebrated at exhibition.

More than 160 artworks have been submitted into the art exhibition for 2019.

Local artists of all ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds have interpreted SOS in many ways such as Support Other Species, Sink Or Swim or Seek Other Solutions.

The art exhibition is on now and runs until Wednesday 18 December in the Great Hall, Council Offices, Ferres Boulevard South Morang.

Admission is free and open 9.30am to 4.30pm weekdays.

Guided gallery tours are available for groups by appointment. Morning Tea will be provided for groups booked two days ahead.
