Ashurst advises lenders on €80 million financing for Portus Data Centers

Ashurst has advised lenders NIBC, Rabobank and UniCredit on the inaugural financing for Portus Data Centers. Portus is a regional data centre platform with colocation sites in Germany and neighbouring countries and is owned by Arcus Infrastructure Partners.

The €80 million financing package comprises a €70 million capex facility and a €10 million revolving credit facility. Proceeds from the capex facility will be used primarily to support the ongoing development of the Munich 2 project, a new 5.5 MW colocation facility on Portus’ existing Munich campus. Operations are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2027.

The financing package also includes a €200 million uncommitted accordion option to support Portus’ further growth.
