Global law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie has appointed Mushri Alsahli as a local partner in the Projects, Energy, Environment & Resources team, based in Riyadh, in a further boost to the firm’s Saudi Arabia offering.
Mushri has more than 12 years of legal experience in providing advisory support to government entities and government-owned companies on matters relating to regulatory frameworks, Saudi law, project development, and privatization. He has particular expertise in the Kingdom’s privatization legal framework, having been a member of the founding team of the National Center for Privatization & PPP, and having advised on a large number of major privatization deals that have set the most important precedents in the privatization program in the Kingdom. He was also a legal advisor at the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers and participated in developing various laws, regulations, and strategic initiatives in the Kingdom. His experience combines deep knowledge of the Saudi legal and regulatory environment with extensive practical experience in structuring and procuring complex government and privatization projects.
