Ashurst Perkins Coie advises Algebris Investments on the acquisition of Vector Renewables

Global law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie advised Algebris Investments, an independent global asset manager, on the acquisition, through its private equity fund Algebris Green Transition Fund (the Fund), of 100% of Vector Renewables (Vector) from Nadara Italy.

Vector Renewables is a leading Spain-based provider of technical advisory and asset management services to the renewable energy sector, with operations across Europe, Asia and Latin America and experience in more than 60 countries.

The transaction marks a strategic milestone for the Fund, expanding its footprint beyond the domestic market with its first international acquisition. Algebris will support Vector’s management team in driving the next phase of global growth, unlocking new scaling opportunities while further consolidating its technical and digital leadership. For Nadara Italy, the transaction represents the opportunity to further sharpen its focus on renewable energy infrastructure.

Ashurst Perkins Coie advised Algebris on the corporate aspects of the transaction, which involved eight jurisdictions. The team, led by partner Annamaria Pinzuti and comprising counsel Andrea Di Rosa and trainee Giulio Zambrano from the Milan office, coordinated the entire transaction, working alongside partners Katie Williams and Gaby Jones and associate Jessica Nelson from the London office on English law aspects; partner Andrés Alfonso and associates Marta Timoner and Raul Gines from the Madrid office on Spanish law aspects; partner Dale Gill from the Brisbane office on Australian law aspects; and partner Chihiro Ashizawa, senior consultant Kensuke Inoue and associate Takashi Chiharu from the Tokyo office on Japanese law aspects.

The Algebris Green Transition Fund fundraising closed in July 2024.
