Assault investigation, Sunshine Coast

Police are seeking public assistance following an assault that occurred yesterday in Curramore.

Around 2pm, a 40-year-old man was at an address on Curramore Road when it is believed he became involved in an altercation with another man.

During this altercation, the 40-year-old sustained what is believed to be a gunshot wound to his mouth.

He was treated by paramedics for non-life threatening injures at an address in Caboolture.

Investigations to date have established that the men involved in the altercation may be known to each other.

Police are appealing to anyone that has any information that may assist with their investigation to contract them.

Investigations are continuing.
