Assistance sought in Virginia fatal crash investigation

Major Crash Investigators are seeking information from the public as they investigate the fatal pedestrian crash at Virginia over the weekend.

Just before 4am on Sunday 16 February, police and emergency services were called to Port Wakefield Highway near Old Port Wakefield Road after reports that a truck had collided with a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 28-year-old man from Glenelg North, sadly died at the scene.

Major Crash officers investigating the collision are trying to locate the pedestrian’s car, a blue 2006 Ford Focus with SA registration XKH-109. A similar car is pictured below.
