Eastern Adelaide police are investigating an attempt robbery at a pizza bar at Para Vista overnight.
Just after 10pm on Sunday 9 March, a man wielding an axe with a bandana around his face, walked into a pizza bar on Nelson Road, threatened staff and demanded money.
The shop staff explained they don’t carry cash on the premises and offered to make the bandit a pizza, but the male suspect described as African appearance about 185cms tall, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, left on foot empty handed.
Police patrols searched the area, but the suspect wasn’t located.
The were no injuries in the ordeal.
