Around 3.20pm today, police and emergency services attended a single All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crash on Forestry Land located off Deep Creek Road at Wynyard.
The 27 year old male rider was attempting to traverse a steep incline when the ATV has lifted from the front causing it to roll back throwing the rider off and the ATV rolling back and into bushes.
The rider received injuries and was extricated from the area by emergency services personnel and friends of the rider utilising a second ATV on scene.
The rider was transported to the North West Regional Hospital in a stable condition.
Police would like to remind riders of ATV’s’ to take caution when riding and consider capability of rider and ATV.
