Construction of Phase 1 of a new submarine yard at the Osborne Naval Shipyard is about to commence. These new facilities are the first for the Osborne North Development Project which, when complete, will enable the production of nine Attack-class Submarines that form part of the Australian Government’s continuous naval shipbuilding plan.
