Australian Survivor season 7 to film in Charters Towers

Production of the iconic reality television franchise, Australian Survivor, has been lured to Australia again with $3.9 million in funding from the Australian Government’s highly successful $540 million Location Incentive.

The franchise filmed its hit sixth season at Cloncurry in Queensland and will now film its seventh season in Charters Towers in the coming weeks.

The production is expected to inject more than $29 million into regional Australia, provide work for 250 Australian crew, while also stimulate tourism to the area and engage the services of around 250 local businesses.

To date, the Government has distributed more than $250 million under the Location Incentive to attract 26 international productions to Australia.
