ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
Weather Situation: A slow-moving tropical low is situated over the far southeast of the NT and is expected to drift slowly back to the north over the Simpson district through tonight and Thursday. Rich tropical moisture surrounding this system is continuing to bring a risk of heavy rainfall.
HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is forecast for parts of the Simpson district. Six hour rainfall totals between 25 and 75 mm are possible. 24 hour rainfall totals between 50 and 100 mm are possible.
These conditions also threaten cattle and other livestock.
Locations which may be affected include Simpson District east of Finke.
