Babinda Pool will reopen on Monday, 7 September, following its annual winter closure.
During the scheduled closure, annual maintenance and cleaning was undertaken of the facility, including:
- Garden and grounds maintenance
- Regular water treatment, balancing, backwashing and dosing
- Assessment and servicing of mechanical equipment
- Electrical works
- Pressure cleaning, and
- Painting
The Babinda facility features a 50-metre swimming pool, a covered grandstand with seating for up to 400 people, and a barbecue area.
Opening hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 6am to 11am and 1pm to 6pm
- Weekends and public holidays: Closed
