Kempsey Shire Council
Council is in the process of replacing the equipment at Crescent Head’s Baker Drive playground.
Unfortunately, the impacts of COVID on international shipping has caused supply issues that are preventing us from getting the new equipment.
The current equipment has sadly now reached a point where we will need to close the playground before it becomes unsafe for users.
The playground will close from Monday 20 December.
At this stage, supply chains willing, we hope to have the new playground installed in February 2022.
We apologise for this as we understand this will be an inconvenience for families in the area, particularly in the holiday season.
