Barbershop owner charged over cocaine supply in North Sydney

A man will appear in court today charged over the alleged ongoing supply of cocaine in Sydney’s Lower North Shore.

As part of extensive inquiries by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad into the supply of illicit drugs across Sydney, investigators arrested a 25-year-old man at a shopping centre in North Sydney just after 8.30am on Thursday 22 August 2019.

He was taken to Chatswood Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug on an ongoing basis, supply prohibited drug (indictable quantity x4), and possess prohibited drug.

Police will allege in court that the man, who is a barbershop owner, supplied more than 50g of cocaine between July and August 2019.

The Ramsgate Beach man – who is now aged 26 – was granted conditional bail to appear at Manly Local Court today (Thursday 12 September 2019).

Investigations are continuing.
