The Territory’s biggest music festival returns to Mindil Beach tomorrow for 11 hours of non-stop music from some of Australia’s hottest acts.

Thousands of people are expected to attend, with gates opening at 1pm. There is free public transport for all ticket holders on the Urban Bus Network from the city, Casuarina, Palmerston and the Rural Area. Simply flash your ticket as you get on the bus. Buses will also be ready and waiting outside the venue from 9pm to help people get home safely.

Music fans will hear from the likes of Angus & Julia Stone, Baker Boy, LDRU, Ocean Alley, Peach PRC and Spacey Jane as they take to the Tropical Stage and Palm Stage, with the first acts starting just after 1pm. There will be no pass-outs at BASS.

Festival-goers will enjoy a number of extra activities, including the Good Tides Sunset Beach Club, Somersby Silent Disco and Good Vibes Market. The Mindil Beach Sunset Markets will be serving up food from 1pm to midnight.

With a typically sunny Top End day on the forecast, there will be plenty of shade, sunscreen and free water for attendees, plus a Wellness Zone where they can chill out. Combined with the All Good Project, St John NT and a facility run by the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre, everything is in place for music lovers to have the best time possible.

Sought-after BASS merch will be available for purchase on the day, including t-shirts, crops, stubby coolers and bucket hats.

BASSINTHEGRASS is delivered by Northern Territory Major Events Company (NTMEC).

BASS travel partner Travello is also offering a $50 voucher, accessible online, to all General Admission and LA COCO ticket holders and will hold a competition on the day so be sure to visit their stall.
