Police have arrested Benjamin McCartin this afternoon in relation to the death of a man in the Melbourne CBD last weekend.
The 40-year-old was arrested in Carlton shortly after 4pm.
The arrest follows a public appeal by police yesterday as part of their investigation into the death on a 46-year-old Carlton man following an affray on King Street on 10 October.
A 43-year-old Melbourne woman has already been charged with murder in relation to the matter and a 42-year-old Melbourne man remains in hospital under police guard.
