Wentworth Shire
Extension of works on Beverley Street, Wentworth until 5:00pm on Friday 8 December 2023.
Sewer works commenced Monday 13 November 2023, with an original completion time of 5:00pm on Friday 1 December 2023 (approximately 3 weeks). Due to wet weather, the works require an extension of seven (7) days.
Traffic control is in place during the works:
- Beverley Street (between Adelaide Street and Murray Lane) is closed to cross traffic
- Murray Lane (between Beverley Street and Short Street) will have access for local traffic only, with the Beverley Street end of Murray Lane being closed.
Both Murray House and Bysouths Garage remain accessible, with parking required on Murray Street.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by these works.
