A Ferrari has been taken off the roads after allegedly driving at a high rate of speed in Tambo Upper on 22 December.
Bairnsdale Highway Patrol officers were patrolling along Stephensons Road when they detected a 2008 F430 Ferrari allegedly driving at 194km/h in a 80km/h speed zone about 3.20pm.
The luxury sports car was intercepted and impounded on the spot at a cost of $1625.
The driver will appear at a magistrates’ court at a later date to answer charges of drive at speed dangerous and exceeding the speed limit.
