Blair Athol service station robbery, South Australia

Police are at the scene of an aggravated robbery where a man entered a service station at Blair Athol and stole drinks, lollies and cash.

At 6am on Tuesday 4 February, a man entered the service station on Main North Road and attempted to pay for goods with a debit card. His debit card declined and he produced a large knife and demanded cash.

The suspect stole cash, lollies and drinks before leaving on foot. He was last seen walking down Warwick Street.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 168cm tall, of slim build, wearing a black hooded jumper, beige pants and black and white sneakers. He was carrying an OTR bag.

Fortunately no one was physically injured during the incident.

Western District patrols including a police dog patrol searched the area, but the suspect has not been located.
