Body located in search for missing woman from North Rocks

A body has been located during a search for a woman missing from Sydney’s west this month.

The 79-year-old was last seen on North Rocks Road, North Rocks, about 10.30pm yesterday (Monday 22 December 2025).

Officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

About 11am today (Tuesday 23 December 2025), police located a body of a woman in a car on Whitbread Place, North Rocks.

While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing woman.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
