Police are investigating the discovery of skeletal remains in the state’s New England region.
Officers from New England Police District were called to a rural property north of Bingara last Friday (18 October 2019), after skeletal remains were located.
A crime scene was established and forensic examination is underway to determine the origin of the remains.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have information about the discovery to contact Moree Police Station on (02) 6757
