Boy seriously injured in car crash at Goulburn, NSW

A 12-year-old boy is in a serious condition following a two-car collision in the state’s south overnight.

Shortly after 5.30pm (Sunday 1 March 2020) emergency services were called to Crookwell Road, Goulburn, following reports of a crash involving a Toyota Hilux and a Honda CRV.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 12-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the Honda CRV. He was flown to Canberra Hospital and later transported to Sydney Children’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition. The driver of the Honda CRV, a 69-year-old man, was uninjured.

The driver of the white Toyota Hilux, a 17-year-old woman, was also treated at the scene before being taken to hospital with minor injuries. Her passenger, a 42-year-old man, was uninjured.

Officers attached to The Hume Police District have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
