Break and enter appeal, Accaia Ridge

Police are appealing for information and have released footage following a break and enter at Acacia Ridge last week.

Initial inquires indicate that just before 4am, a blue Mitsubishi Lancer bearing false registration plates has approached the Watson Road business.

Two male offenders, armed with metal objects, exited the vehicle and smashed the business’ front doors to gain entry.

The two scaled the front counter and attempted to obtain several items before being disturbed by responding police.

Officers attempted to restrain one of the offenders as they attempted to flee the premises but were disrupted after the other offender in the Mitsubishi attempted to drive at officers’ multiple times.

The restrained offender managed to flee the scene in the offending vehicle.

Investigators have today released CCTV of the incident that may help them identify the men.

The men are described a Caucasian in appearance with slim builds. One was wearing a light-coloured hoodie, sports shorts and dark shoes, and the other was wearing a dark coloured hoodie, black long track pants and black shoes.

Investigators are asking anyone who may be able to identify the men, who may have witnessed the incident, or have CCTV/dashcam footage of the area to contact police.

Investigations continue.
