Break And Enters At Service Stations At Gold Coast

Police are investigating two break and enters at service stations on the Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning September 6.

Around 2.35am police were called after a service station at Old Coach Road at Upper Coomera was broken into and a large quantity of cigarettes were stolen.

Shortly after at 3.10am police were again called after reports of the front glass doors of a Spencer Drive service station at Carrara were smashed to gain entry. An attempt was made to open the ATM inside the business but this was unsuccessful.

Nothing was stolen from this premises.

Police will investigate if there are any links between the two incidents.

Anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious or has any dashcam in the area at the time of the incident is urged to come forward.
