Report details how the precinct could be improved following stakeholder engagement

The Australian Government has released the Bruce Precinct Master Plan Final Scenarios report, with the report set to shape how the precinct is developed in coming years.

The project examined opportunities to better integrate major sporting, health and education assets across the precinct and identify options to support its long-term development.

The report comprises nine months of planning, analysis, design and stakeholder engagement following a $9.98 million commitment over two years by the Australian Government.

The report explores opportunities to:

  • strengthen connections between key sporting, health and education institutions;
  • improve public transport, walking and cycling connectivity;
  • support a vibrant and sustainable precinct;
  • enhance public spaces and environmental outcomes; and
