Multiple Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a vegetation fire burning in inaccessible land near Prout Road, Burbank. Crews are working to contain the fire and there is no threat to property at this time. Smoke will affect surrounding areas including Mount Gravatt, Mackenzie, Mansfield, Belmont and the Gateway Motorway. Residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medication close by if required. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. If you feel your property is under threat, call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
