Sex Assault Squad detectives have charged a man in relation to an incident in Burswood on Saturday 20 January 2024.
About 1:10am, a woman was riding her E-scooter and approached the pedestrian underpass tunnel under the Causeway.
It will be alleged a man pushed the woman off the E-scooter and then indecently assaulted her and stole her mobile phone.
Yesterday, Wednesday 24 January 2024, Sex Assault Squad detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in Wilson and arrested a 19-year-old-man.
The 19-year-old man has been charged with:
– Aggravated Indecent Assault
– Aggravated Robbery
– Attempted Aggravated Robbery
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today, Thursday 25 January 2024.
