Caboolture Hospital opens doors to new Clinical Services Building as part of $352.9 million redevelopment

The Minister for Health Shannon Fentiman, together with the Deputy Premier Steven Miles have today unveiled a new five-storey Clinical Services Building at Caboolture Hospital, set to provide 130 new beds for the hospital.

The Clinical Services Building is part of the Palaszczuk Government’s investment of $352.9 million which will see Caboolture Hospital receive an extensive uplift, including a refurbishment of some of its existing spaces.

The new building will house an expanded Emergency Department for the region, as well as Palliative Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, operating theatres and stage one recovery spaces, Cardiac Care Unit, a specialised Chest Pain Assessment Unit, two medical wards and space for a future 20 bed Rehabilitation Unit.

The new building forms part of the $399.5 million Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment, which includes a new Multi-Storey Carpark and a refurbishment program to enhance and modernise spaces within the existing hospital.
