Call for information – Suspicious vehicle fires – Darwin

Northern Territory Police and the NT Fire and Rescue Service are investigating after multiple vehicle fires at a business in Darwin earlier today.

At 3:45am, reports were received that 3 vehicles were set alight at a business on Duke Street, Stuart Park.

Firefighters attended the scene and all fires were extinguished with no reported injuries. A nearby building sustained a broken window, however, there was no structural damage.

A crime scene was declared and a number of witness statements have been provided to police.

Duke Street was closed and has since reopened to traffic.

A fire investigator has been in attendance and the fires have been deemed suspicious.
