Expressions of interest for Shellharbour City’s Youth Art & Design Exhibition
Shellharbour City Council is encouraging young local artists to showcase their talents at the annual Youth Art & Design Exhibition as part of Youth Week 2024.
The exhibition will be held at the Shellharbour Civic Centre from Monday 8 April to Sunday 28 April, with the official launch on Thursday 11 April.
Artworks can include any mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, photography, digital media, jewellery, animation, design and textiles.
To be eligible, artists must be aged 12 to 24 years and live in the Shellharbour City Local Government Area.
Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said the Youth Art & Design Exhibition was a highlight of Council’s annual Youth Week celebrations.
“The exhibition provides an excellent opportunity for the youth of Shellharbour City to showcase their talents to the community,” Mayor Homer said.
“Youth Week will be held 11 to 21 April. The official opening of the art and design exhibition is always a great way to kick off the celebrations,” he said.
