Police and emergency services were called to Campbellfield this morning following reports of a collision between a car and a truck.
It is believed a Nissan Patrol travelling north on Sydney Road collided with the rear of a truck just before 6.15am near the intersection of Truck City Drive.
The male driver and sole occupant of the Nissan died at the scene.
The driver of the truck was unharmed and stopped to assist.
Police will investigate the cause of the crash.
