Three people have been arrested and five trail bikes have been seized by police responding to community reports of dangerous rider behaviour in Sydney’s south west today.
About 11.20am (Thursday 29 October 2026), officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol Command’s Strike Force Puma were called to Heathcote Road, Moorebank, where several trail bikes were reportedly being ridden dangerously along the road.
Police will allege that during the incident, the riders travelled at high speeds and crossed to the incorrect side of the roadway.
Following inquiries – with assistance from the Public Order and Riot Squad, the Dog Unit and PolAir – officers arrested two men – aged 18 and 22 – and a 19-year-old woman shortly after 1pm in a carpark on Banksia Road, Greenacre.
Police also seized five trail bikes which will undergo forensic examination. Police will allege three of the bikes were unregistered, with one reported stolen and the other not bearing number plates.
The 19-year-old woman was issued a Traffic Infringement Notice for not wear approved helmet.
Both men were issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for the offences of drive in a manner dangerous to the public and exceed speed limit by over 45km/h.
They will appear before Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday 11 November 2026.
Inquiries are ongoing.
