Monash Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance as they investigate the theft of a car from Clayton.
An unknown offender has gained access to the underground car park of an apartment complex on Clarkson Court, Clayton, about 8.30am on 15 December and has stolen a BMW sedan.
Police have released the image of a man, they believe may be able to assist with enquiries.
The man is perceived to be of Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his mid-20s, 183cm tall and was wearing a blue jumper, dark pants and black Vans shoes.
The stolen BMW has since been located.
