Car crashes onto property, NSW

Police are investigating after a car crashed onto a property on the state’s Central Coast this evening.

About 6.30pm (Friday 27 December 2019), a white Ford Festiva sedan was travelling north on Springwood Street, Ettalong Beach when it collided with a silver Holden Captiva.

The Captiva has subsequently spun and crashed through a front fence of a property on Bourke Road.

Officers from Brisbane Waters Police District, NSW Ambulance paramedics and Fire and Rescue NSW attended the scene.

The 63-year-old male driver, and sole occupant of the Ford Festiva, was treated for minor injuries before being taken to Gosford Hospital for further treatment, and mandatory blood and urine testing.

The 64-year-old male driver of the Holden Captiva and his male passenger, as well as the residents of the house, were all uninjured.

There was no damage to the house.

Investigations into the collision are underway.
