Police have recovered a Mercedes stolen from Sydney’s east earlier this week.
About 11.20pm on Tuesday 25 February 2020, officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were called to a home on Varna Street, Waverley, after the car, a wallet, bag and cash were stolen.
Four people were at home during the incident.
Yesterday about 6:45pm (Thursday 27 February 2020), the car was found undamaged on Rosewood Drive, Greystanes, in Sydney’s west.
Police recovered the car and it is now undergoing forensic examination.
Investigations continue.
