Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Port Augusta service station.
Just after 4.30am on Tuesday 26 May, police were called to a service station on the Eyre Highway following reports that a man had entered the premises armed with an axe and threatened staff. The suspect stole cigarettes and cash from the till before fleeing.
The employee was not physically injured.
Multiple patrols attended and searched the area, however, the suspect was not located.
Crime scene investigators and detectives attended the scene and have since released the below image and CCTV footage of the suspect.
