CCTV released as armed robbery investigation continues, NSW

Detectives have released CCTV footage as they continue to investigate an armed robbery at Lake Macquarie earlier this year.

About 6.15pm on Sunday 27 September 2020, a 24-year-old man was working at a bottle shop on Wilsons Road at Mount Hutton, when a man entered the store and threatened him with a firearm.

He demanded cash before fleeing the scene and was last seen heading east towards South Street, Windale.

Lake Macquarie Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV footage of a man who may be able to assist police with their investigation.

He is described as being between 180cm to 185cm tall, wearing dark clothing, with his face and hands covered.
