CCTV released in appeal for information over hit and run in Plumpton

Police have released CCTV footage and are appealing for information as investigations continue into a hit and run in Sydney’s west.

About 7.40am on Sunday 27 October 2022, a 28-year-old man exited his vehicle on Martina Place near Woodstock Avenue, Plumpton, before he was struck by a white ute.

The ute stopped and the unknown male driver threatened the man with a tomahawk before driving from the scene.

The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment and has since been released.

Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation into the incident.

As part of their inquiries, investigators have released CCTV of the ute, which is described as being a white older model Holden Rodeo, with a noticeable yellow toolbox on the tray.
