
The “Stay At Home” order introduced by the NSW Government will change the services offered by Narrandera Shire Council from Monday 16 August until further notice.
Council venues will be closed to the public, including: Council Chambers, Library, Narrandera and Barellan Landfills, the Return and Earn facility and the Visitor Information Centre.
Staff normally at these facilities are now required by the order to work from home and will continue to provide services where possible.
Council’s works programs and outdoor operations will continue to provide services and support to residents.

PAYMENTS
Payment of rates and charges or other accounts can be made using the options printed on the reverse of the 2021-2021 rate notice.
Australia Post services will be available, so accounts with a printed barcode can be paid at their retail outlets.
One can also attach a cheque or money order to the account to be paid and send the payment in an envelope to Narrandera Shire Council at 141 East Street, Narrandera NSW 2700.
COMMUNITY TRANSPORT
Community Transport is considered an essential service and, while the office is closed to the public, their services will continue to provide transport for medical appointments and shopping for groceries.
Social Support is available over the phone and assistance with grocery shopping can be provided.
