Changes to immunisation services – Campaspe Shire Council

Campaspe Shire Council has made adjustments to Immunisation Sessions following direction from the Federal Government around gatherings of people to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

CEO Declan Moore said due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Council is taking measures to protect both the community and staff.

“Temporary changes have been made to the delivery of immunisation sessions to reduce the risk of infection to staff and the community and it is vital these instructions are followed,” Mr Moore said.

Arrangements have been made for next week’s sessions with further changes to future sessions to be announced shortly.

Immunisation sessions for Thursday, 2 April will be by appointment only, with only one parent/guardian to accompany a child. Session details are:

  • Echuca Library (9am -11am)
  • Rochester Community House/Shire Hall – entry from the courtyard (5pm -6:30pm)
  • Stanhope Community Health Centre (1pm – 2pm)

Appointments can be made by calling customer service on 1300 666 535.

“People should not attend a booked session if they or their child have symptoms of a respiratory infection (such as fever, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, or a cough) or have returned from overseas in the past 14 days,” Mr Moore said.
