Council has
voted to revert fees for capped on-street all-day, 3-hour and 4-hour parking in
the Geelong CBD to 2018-19 levels.
The decision, made unanimously by councillors during Thursday night’s Special
Meeting at City Hall, will come into effect as of 7am this Monday (8 July).
It will see
the following changes to 2019-20 budgeted fees:
- Capped all-day on-street parking from $13 back to $5.80;
- 3-hour parking capped from $7 back to $5.80;
- 4-hour parking capped from $8 back to $3.50; and
- 4-hour parking capped (high occupancy) from $9 back
to $5.80.
