From today (25 March) the Monash Waste Transfer Station, 380 Ferntree Gully Road Notting Hill will operate with adjusted hours.
The Transfer Station will now be open from 7.30am to 3pm, 7 days.
We would like to remind our customers to observe social distancing guidelines when around staff and other customers. Where possible, we strongly encourage the use of contactless card transactions. These measures are to limit the chance of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) infection.
There are also some changes to our kerbside collection (waste, recycling and green waste bins) service. In order for our contractor Solo Resource Recovery to maintain adequate social distancing for employees, they have commenced staggered operating times. This means the collection period will take place over a longer period of the day, with some bins being collected earlier or later than usual.
To accommodate these changes, please place your bins out the night before your collection and make sure the bin is not overfilled and the lid is closed.
