Detectives from Argos have charged a 46-year-old man with child sex offences following an investigation into the possession and distribution of child exploitation material.
Investigators from Argos, executed a search warrant in Ormiston on 1 October and located numerous electronic storage devices.
It will be alleged the man was found in possession of child exploitation material depicting the sexual abuse of children and was also active in a number of online child abuse networks.
The 46-year-old Ormiston man was charged with 99 offences, including possessing child abuse material, administering a child exploitation material website, using a carriage service to distribute child abuse material and other offences against children.
He appeared in the Brisbane Magistrates Court 2 October and has been remanded in custody until 16 October.
