Witness the magic of Christmas at Darwin Waterfront as Santa lights up Darwin’s tallest Christmas tree for the very first time.
Join us for a special community event from 5.30pm on Friday, 25 November with a visit from the jolly-man himself, roaming Christmas characters, carols and music from Darwin City Brass Band and lots more family fun.
Darwin Waterfront General Manager Sam Burke said the new tree was a fantastic addition to the precinct’s existing decorations.
“Christmas is such a special time at Darwin Waterfront and we are excited to be introducing an 8 metre tree, the tallest tree in Darwin, to our display,” Mr Burke said.
For the first time, the Waterfront sky bridge will be illuminated and other large-scale decorations will accompany the tree in Palm Grove.
