88 outstanding Australian businesses have today been named as national finalists in this year’s Australian Export Awards.
Together, these finalists generated $2.8 billion in revenue last financial year and employed more than 17,000 people, demonstrating the contribution exporters make to communities and the national economy.
Nearly half are small businesses with annual turnover below $10 million, showing that Australian businesses of all sizes can succeed on the global stage.
Each finalist has already been recognised through their respective state or territory export awards, earning their place on the national stage.
Since 1963, the Australian Export Awards have celebrated the ingenuity, ambition and international success of homegrown exporters.
This year’s finalists reflect the innovation, resilience and global ambition of Australian businesses across a diverse range of sectors and industries.
The Awards program is presented by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission, in collaboration with state and territory partners.
