Clean Up Australia Day sees community efforts shine

Kempsey Shire Council

On Sunday 6 March, community groups grabbed bags and pulled up gloves for Clean Up Australia Day.

From Gladstone Public School to Dondingalong Fire Shed, Kalateenee State Forest to Riverside Park, volunteers were out in full force to clean up their local areas.

Kempsey Shire Council provided support by offering free waste disposal for community groups, schools and businesses participating in Clean Up Australia Day activities at the Waste Management Centre on Crescent Head Road.

A big thank you to the members of the community who showed their commitment to the greater good by taking part in this important event.
