ClubGRANTS Support Nine Worthy Community Causes

Picture of ClubGRANTS 2024 recipientsNine local community groups have shared in $133,711 in grants through the annual ClubGRANTS program.

The recipients were officially announced at a special presentation in Yarramundi on Tuesday, benefiting 13 individual projects. Funding was provided by Windsor RSL Club, Richmond Club, Panthers North Richmond and Windsor Leagues Club.

The recipients include:

Pink Finss – $20,000 to assist in continuing support of women, men and their families diagnosed with cancer.

Kingsford Smith Retirement Village – $3,000 to assist in the upgrade of machinery for the Shed.

Merana Aboriginal Community Association for the Hawkesbury Inc – $20,700 to assist with two programs that will offer sport classes to children aged from 2 up to 12 years.

Hope 4 U Foundation – $5,000 for the Hawkesbury Wellness and Suicide Prevention event.

Learning Links – $10,000 to establish a program at Pitt Town Public School designed to understand and diagnose children’s learning, social and wellbeing needs; $8,695 to establish a program at Kurrajong Public School for in-school mental health and wellbeing; $9,890 to establish a program at Windsor Park Public School to support disadvantaged children with their literacy; and $9,890 to establish a program at Bligh Park Public School to support disadvantaged children with their numeracy.

The Jeremiah Project Inc – $29,100 to assist in continuing support for the provision of food to those experiencing homelessness, loneliness and financial hardship.

Hart Youth – $3,436 to assist in organising the 2024 Hart Youth Talent Showcase.

The Women’s Cottage – $11,000 to assist in the establishment of a meditation group for vulnerable women.

Western Sydney Veterans Association – $3,000 for programs to keep seniors active.
